Help plan the future of transportation in Ventura County
CAMARILLO – The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) needs your help to plan the future of transportation in our county.
VCTC recently began an update of the Ventura County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP), a document that will plan for transportation in Ventura County over the next 30 years. The CTP will look at various modes of transportation and mobility, including walking, biking, public transit, airports and more.
Whether it’s greater access to public transit, protected bike lanes on roadways, or more places to cross the street safely, we want to hear what you think will make traveling in Ventura County safer, greener and equitable to all.
The project, which is expected to take about two years, will rely heavily on input from the community. VCTC and a team of consultants kicked off the CTP update in September 2021 by meeting with key stakeholders representing business, agriculture, cities, housing and more. Later this year, the project team will be visiting community events to connect with Ventura County residents and gather input.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED NOW
Ventura County residents can help plan for the future of transportation by filling out an online, map-based survey and signing up to receive information about the project. Dates of community workshops will be shared later this year.

Happy planning!
