Project Programming

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) is issuing a Call for Projects for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds and Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Bicycle and Pedestrian Funds.  Agencies are invited to submit applications for projects which mitigate congestion, reduce vehicle emissions, and/or foster an increase in transit ridership, bicycling, or walking.

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) will hold a public hearing on the Program of Projects (POP) for the Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley Urbanized Areas (UAs) for projects to be funded with Federal Transit Administration funds in the 2017/18 Fiscal Year.  The public hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on June 2, 2017, in the Camarillo City Council Chamber, 601 Carmen Drive, in Camarillo.                             

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a summary/listing of local transportation capital projects (including highway improvements and transit projects) funded by state and federal funds. It establishes transportation priorities for Ventura County across a multi-year period.
