Getting There

Public transportation is highly recommended for this event. Special service has been added by several transit operators to accommodate the event.

The Downtown Ventura train station is steps away from the X Games. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service will be available to the station Friday-Sunday with additional trips on Saturday. Metrolink service will be extended from the East Ventura station to the Downtown Ventura station for the event Saturday and Sunday. Please check schedules below.

Current service is provided to the City of Ventura with an added stop at the Fairgrounds. X Games Day passes are $10 and Kids 17 and under ride FREE on the weekend! Students can also ride free with the Student Adventure Pass. Metrolink now offers connecting service to LAX.

AMTRAK Pacific Surfliner

Sustainable travel to Ventura is offered by the Pacific Surfliner and drops off in Ventura directly at the X Games entrance of the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Trips on all local buses can be paid for on the VCbuspass app or with exact change. Riders who use VCbuspass to pay for their fare will receive a 10% discount per trip. All Ventura County college students ride free through the College Ride Program (Ventura College, Oxnard College, Moorpark College, CSU Channel Islands, Cal Lutheran, UC Santa Barbara, and Santa Barbara City College, and youths 18 and under ride free through the Youth Ride Free Program. The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) operates six commuter bus routes throughout Ventura County, as well as to Santa Barbara and Warner Center. All VCTC buses are wheelchair accessible and have ample bike storage, free passenger Wi-Fi, and reclining seats. Following routes will have modified schedules for the X Games.

Route 101: Saturday level service on Sunday. All stops served except the Ventura Pier. All trips will serve the WB Thompson/Fig Gold Coast Stop

Route 126: Regular weekend service. All trips will serve the WB Thompson/Fig Gold Coast Stop

Coastal Express: Regular weekend service. All trips will serve the WB Thompson/Fig Gold Coast Stop. Santa Clara/Oak Stop will be closed

Gold Coast Bus will offer buses from the park-n-ride at the Pacific View Mall (3301 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93003) to the venue during X Games weekend. Purchase for $1.50/trip on the Token Transit App or the UMO App. Tickets can only be purchased on day of transit. Parking is FREE at the mall. Gold Coast service can be taken from the cities of Ventura, Oxnard, Ojai and Port Hueneme.

X Games offers free “first come, first serve” bike valet parking provided by Bike Ventura at the main entrance in Lot A. Find the perfect biking route at the map.

If you’re coming from somewhere close by, consider walking to the X Games! The fairgrounds connect to several walking paths (check Google to plan your walk). The city will place lighting along the Promenade to increase visibility at night.

PARKING AT THE VENUE

There is no on-site parking at X Games Ventura County Fairgrounds between June 22-July 2, including ADA parking. Passengers needing ADA accommodations will be able to utilize shuttles provided for the event.

SAN BUENA VENTURA STATE BEACH PARKING LOT

Parking is available at the San Buenaventura State Beach Parking Lot, located at 901 San Pedro Street in Ventura, for $15 per day. Jump on the Bus will provide FREE shuttle rides to and from the venue, or it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to X Games from the State Beach lot. View route here.

Parking by permit only. X Games is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or vehicle contents. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
